The BookZone, that is! The place where you can find children’s books, middle-grade books, and young adult books by new or not-so-new authors.

Hello! I’m Dee—the reader, writer, and book hugger behind Book Zone Reviews.

As a self-published author, avid reader, and former street vendor, this is my way of staying connected to the book community. I’m using everything I’ve learned from wearing all three hats to create a place that’s beneficial to authors, readers, publishers, and booksellers.

Books, discoveries, and a few hugs

Here you’ll find book reviews, author interviews, book introductions, and other bookish discoveries for readers from babies through teens—and the grown-ups helping them choose what to read.

I share what I enjoyed, what gave me pause, and who I think a book might suit. My Christian faith informs my perspective, and when something warrants a heads-up for Christian parents, I’ll share that too.

And then there’s the Huggability Factor. Because sometimes, closing a book simply isn’t enough. You’ve got to hug it.
