Q&A With Sherry Gloag

BookZone had the recent opportunity to sit down with author, Sherry Gloag to discuss the art of writing, her aspirations, lessons learned and her recent works. The following is the delightful result:

Hello, Everyone,

I have been reading book 2 in the Rose Legacy entitled Sweet Boundless.  I am really enjoying spending time with Carina again.  While she has chosen between the two men in the first book, her life is not settled.  She embarks on a business venture of her own, all the while hoping and praying for her hearts desire to be fulfilled.  If you haven't yet read Kristen Heitzmann's books I highly recommend you pick one up.  You will enjoy this life story.

God bless,

Review: The Rose Legacy

I recently read The Rose Legacy by Kristen Heitzmann.  It is based in Colorado in 1880.  This book has everything that I look for in a good story. There is love, heartache, adventure, danger, faith and hope. Carina Maria DiGratia is the main character and she is young and naive.  She moves to Crystal Colorado to get revenge but soon learns that life holds more than she could ever have imagined.  She meets Quillan Sheppard and Berkley Beck upon her arrival and she finds herself stuck between the two of them.  Which way should she turn, whom should she trust?  Carina needs to figure out the truth before it is too late.

Good morning everyone,

I just wanted to start out by telling you all a little about myself.  I am currently a stay at home mom, with 6 children.  My oldest son is married to a wonderful woman and they have a beautiful baby girl.  My youngest child will turn 3 this year.  My husband and I were quite surprised when we learned that Dyllen would be joining our family, but God's plans are always better than our own and now we can't imagine life without him. I have children in elementary, middle and high school.  Needless to say my life is never boring.  I enjoy reading and my favorite to read are books in a series.  I look forward to sharing my views on books as well as funny stories that occur with in our family.  Dyllen is usually good for at least one great big laugh per day!

Until next time,
God Bless you,

Book Zone Welcomes a New Author!

Hi Folks,

How have you been enjoying all the changes that Google has been making? Who's loving the new Google+ profiles?  Well in the spirit of change, here's another for you.  Book Zone welcome's a new author here at this location...Momma Kathy.

We worship together at the same church and have done so for the last five years. She's an avid reader (this I just found out) and her middle daughter Kymberlee takes after her in that respect. She will be writing reviews and hosting blog tours.  Pretty much the same as I do over at my location, just another view point for you to read.

Sooo without further ado...I gave you *drumroll please!*

Momma Kathy!
